The KRACH rating system

The sport of college hockey is organized in such a way that direct comparisons between teams, especially teams in different conferences, are difficult to do. Various methods are possible, but the approach used in KRACH statistically estimates a rating for each team by modelling the probability of defeating the other teams. This also accounts for the strength of the team's opponents. In case you're wondering, KRACH stands for "Ken's ratings for American college hockey".
