- Recommended texts (some of these are on reserve in the Dal library):
- Graph Theory and its Applications, Gross and Yellen, CRC
Press (very readable, with many examples. Good for self-study. Does not cover
all the material from the course).
- Introduction to Graph Theory, Douglas West (this text was used
for the course in previous years).
- Graph Theory, Reinhard Diestel, Springer Verlag (available for $35
in paperback. Covers all the material, but is quite concise).
- Graph Theory, Ronald Gould, Benjamin/Cummings (standard text, now
out of print.)
- Graph Theory with Applications Bondy and Murty,
North-Holland (for years this was THE standard book on graph
theory. Now out of print and somewhat out of date, but still a very
nice text.)

Let me know if you find any other useful links (implementations
of algorithms discussed in class, descriptions of interesting graph
theory applications or problems, etc.), and I will add them to this
list.
