Final Exam.

The median was 62. I used the following curve (out of 90 points):
90:A+
80:A
70:A-
60:B+
55:B
50:B-
45:C+
40:C
30:C-
20:D
10:D-
0:E

Homework.

I used the following curve for the homework (out of 15%):
14.4:A+
13.6:A
13.0:A-
12.4:B+
11.6:B
11.0:B-
9.5:C+
8.0:C
6.5:C-
5.0:D
3.5:D-
0:E
The median was 12.8.

Your Grade.

Here are the details of how I calculated the course grades. First, I have calculated a numerical score based on 15% homework, 25% for each midterm, and 35% for the final exam. This score has been assigned a letter grade according to the following curve (out of 100%):
90:A+
75:A
70:A-
68:B+
62:B
57:B-
50:C+
45:C
40:C-
30:D
20:D-
0:E
This is the minimum grade you got in the course. In some cases, I have raised this grade, based on individual parts of the course that a person did well in. For instance, your grade might have been raised because of your homework. Also, everybody got at least the grade for the course that they got on the final exam.
