Curve for the First Midterm. The first midterm was out of 100 points. The minimum score for each grade is listed. The course-wide median was 67. The median for our section was 72.
Curve for the Second Midterm. The second midterm was out of 100 points. The minimum score for each grade is listed. The course-wide median was 62. The median for our section was 64.
Curve for the Final. The final exam was out of 125 points. The minimum score for each grade is listed. The course-wide median was 79. The median for our section was 85.
Combined curve for all three exams. If you add your three exam scores, you get a score out of 325 points, called the "uniform exam score". The course-wide median for the uniform exam score was 210. The median for our section was 219. The following table assigns a letter grade to your uniform exam score:
Your course grade. Divide the uniform exam score by five; this gives you the first 65% of your course grade. Add team homework, scaled at 20%, and quizzes (after dropping the lowest quiz), scaled at 15%. The resulting score out of 100% determines your course grade, according to the following table.
