The following is useful when you're traveling and you need to
connect home from some internet cafe where they only have Windows
machines. putty.exe (SSH client for Windows).
File Sharing
- Gnutella. Linux Gnutella clients that work: gnut (text-based)
and gtk-gnutella
(graphics-based, but currently can't share files). I also tried gnucleus, but it only crashed a lot
and never found anything.
- Napster. Linux Napster clients that
work: nap (text-based).
- Freenet. It's a neat idea,
but still under development and lacks user documentation (only
technical documentation available).
