- Optional Text: Linear Algebra (and its applications), 3rd edition,
by D.C. Lay.
Evaluation
Term work will consist of two tests (dates below) and ten quizzes.
Homework may also be assigned, but only as preparation for quizzes
and tests; it will therefore not be graded.
Calculators will not be permitted on any quiz, test or on the final
exam.
- Quizzes: (15%) every Wednesday when there is not a test
- Tests: (35%) Wednesday, 8 February 2006 and
Wednesday, 22 March 2006
- Final: (50%) to be scheduled by registrar
